Dear Tom, I enjoyed the striking imagery in your lustrous strand of Haiku. Each one is a gem with a different mood yet unified by Nature's impressive beauty. I especially loved the image of the dried up river bed as a jigsaw puzzle - quite dazzling! Warmest wishes, my friend, and I hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend.. ~Susan

The last one is so sad. It is the way of nature. For one to survive another must be sacrificed so that the others have food. The mother and the herd in some cases grieve the loss just like humans. I enjoyed reading these. Sara
