Haiku

the serpent sleeps coiled, reclining at my feet dreaming of deceit tempting marshmallows: do not rush. Delay will bring gratification morning dew glistens she cried her eyes out all night let the sun shine bright almond trees blossom lightning flashes, thunder drawls do not be afraid

Paul, a captivating, splendid strand of Haiku pearls of lustrous beauty and emotional depth! Beguiling, tempting, tender, reassuring, I feel your Haiku (your first Haiku even more amazing..) to be powerful and wondrous in imagery and content... Warmest wishes ~Sue

Great --seven for sure Paul! You are indeed taking care of someone dear to you, but bed-ridden. God is ready to do a miraclous intervention. Keep thanking Jesus and asking for the Holy Spirit "to arise. You are welcome here. amen in Jesus' name." Anil Deo

Thank you Rajat....Kundalini represents coiled power, if I'm not mistaken, so that would also refer to the coiled snake. You have an alert mind! All the best. // paul

Delayed gratification has never been my strong point. Yes, it does get me into trouble. If I want something....I want it NOW!!! I guess being the youngest and the only girl in the family....I got what I wanted pretty much. Lovely group of haiku. You are very talented!!! PC ;)
