We'll surely miss having Rico around
For his Limerick's distinctly profound
He cheered us all up
At times made us blush
As Limerick King Rico earned his crown.
Rico you’re the Monarch of poet hearts
Loved for your talented creative art
We miss you so much
For your Midas touch
Always on top of the charts for a laugh.
Rico now that you are on Heavens floor
Surrounded by hallowed angels galore
Keep each one amused
And their souls enthused
Writing witty Limericks by the score.
Rico as over the rainbow you fly
Enjoy yourself above the sky on high
Goodnight and God bless
