Good Wishes For My Enemy

Dear Enemy, I will wish you well and set you free. Your words and knife, will no longer hurt me. Too bad it all had to end this way, your evil and me walking away. Life is so very short, I only want lovely people around me. Now be on your way, with blessings I give to you today.

What a beautiful way to bid farewell to an enemy, is to just wave them with forgiveness, but as you’ve said, life is too short for us to have that energy around. Brilliant write: forgiveness is a beautiful trait. And i love the way you’ve written this

It is always best to let anger an resentment go.. forgiveness is the best way to move on, although I know that can be hard... You wrote a great poem for the contest Paula..
