A beautiful Terzanelle, but your poem is also an Anacreontic Verse using 3 to 5 syllables per line. This is not only beautiful, but it's genius! You made this look effortless. Smiles for you :) Ed

Thank you Edward, your comment made my day :) this poem is the result of 13 years in Catholic teaching establishments, so it's on the outer edge of possible that my subconscious drew all that in. Unfortunately, no one has ever mentioned Anacreontic Verse before, so I might have to slide back into the shadows as a non genius but I enjoyed my moment of glory. Your comment was very much appreciated, thank you :)
