We transmute ego urge to fight Against ignorance that abounds Desire’s to reach zenith like height Far from evil, which our heart pounds Fiercest of life trials lie within We transmute ego urge to fight As fears spiral to heart’s chagrin Ominous darkness veils the light Wishing to dwell in bliss delight Abiding in tranquil silence We transmute ego urge to fight Rekindling light of innocence Head melds with heart, in surrender Joy pervades form through day and night Our love leaves no hearts asunder We transmute ego urge to fight 24-November-2021

I really like your central theme of joy - it makes sense to me in all ways.

I liked the way you allowed, "We transmute ego urge to fight". Moving it progessively down through each verse was skillfully shown, Seeker. Your poet friend, Bill
