Girls' Track Team
Four be-ribboned poles mark our base;
quitters we’re not, we will give chase.
We have patience, hope, joy and grace.
Relays? not hard, but just in case
lane after lane we max our pace.
Earnest and able, we’ll win this race.
We have been lucky there’s no trace
of team losers who josh or debase.
To be frank, we will not embrace
winning, then bragging in-your-face.
This day, our dawn, we’re bound to place,
we’ve made our focus - time and space.
We are Patience, Hope, Joy and Grace,
a four “man” team all dressed in lace.
