Getting Old
how suddenly the good times
come to a screeching halt
in our youth we were wild
nothing stopping us
crossing boundaries
pushing limits
climbed the summit
we were crazy just insane
how we thought fun times
would last forever
never did we think
we would get old
riding on magic carpets
laughed in the face of danger
believing our youth invincible
double dares our staple
how did we ever get so old
