Gave I My Wife
Gave I my wife a gentle hug,
on her cheek placed a little peck.
Frankly she had rather have a rug.
Persisted I the hole be deeper dug
and kissed her on the neck.
Gave I my wife a gentle hug.
She asked me then, “see that bug”
and squished it under foot.
Frankly she had rather have a rug.
Maybe I misunderstood the tug,
thought I felt in heat of passion.
Gave I my wife a gentle hug.
Shook her head, mop she drug.
Cleaned up the squish, sadly said;
"frankly she had rather have a rug"
“Get out of here you ugly mug”.
Said with smile artificially smug.
Gave I my wife a gentle hug.
Frankly she had rather have a rug.
