Fulcrum of a Rose

Commerce and literature (poetry expressly) also movies have had a role in the captapult of the rose to its high point in the field of flowerhood symbolizing love, beauty and passion. What do we sense regarding the essence of a rose? color, shape, growth thorns, velvet, delicacy oohs and ahs jams, jellies, hips, tea fragrance, bouquet Why do I instinctively inhale even at mere pictures of roses? .....It is the fragrance of any flower that I treasure - .....I thank the Lord for memories - sweet aromas of roses. Marigolds and zinnias have recognizable scents; but who decorates a wedding with such posies? Who sends a pot of marigolds to a funeral? What son observes Mother’s Day with zinnias? Finally, with further thoughts from esteemed poet, from The Rose Family by Robert Frost. His deeper concept of a rose is one of any fruit. “You, of course, are a rose – But were always a rose.” May we all ever be cognizant of the fruit borne in our soul, that it may be to neighbors like perfume, the reward of roses.
