Confinement - I carry my prison with me no bounds or bars or barriers can equal the breadth of my bondage its burning poison possesses marrow and mind squeezing the emotion and energy from every cell and sinew. Truth be told it is a cell I walked into with knowledge and bitter wisdom and the lone latchkey hides very deep in my own pocket.

Hi Greg . The last line is a KO. So apt. Cleverly contrived my friend.

There are so many who can relate to this kind of prison. Wonderfully expressed Greg. Congratulations on your win! : )

I believe you are correct, Connie ... most of us are self-confining in some way. Thanks and blessings, my friend! :-) <3

So sad, deep, dark, and very powerfully written, Greg. We all are our own prisoners in one way or another, and our 'latchkey' can be close, but yet too far to reach at times. Another fave, and congratulations on your placement. Sandra <3

So true, self-confinement is the most insidious, very insightful!

Indeed, Michelle, and I think most of us have our own little prisons. Blessings, my friend! :-) <3
