Hey! What's wrong with the turkey? The American public has elected a whole helluva lot of them. Washington is loaded. Carolyn, you are too, too much. BIG LOVE, daver

Made me chuckle this one, and yes the title is kool >> and Mr Franklin was a great American. Its about time some of our politicians started reading about these greats of the past, rather than their ancestoral paintings on the walls of their RICH MANSIONS, they may turn out to be better politicians, here's hoping >> James

However, a turkey won't be so bad! At least it would taste better tahn an eagle (...joke!!!). Yes, Carolyn, Benjamin Franklin was of course a brilliant person. Now Carrnival Tuesday in Germany soon will be over and so all masks will disappear for another year. Thank you for your nice ciomment...Love, Gert

What a creative write and funny! Carolyn. Good luck on the contest. And thank you for your nice comments today. I had already entered a Haiku for Raul's contest. It's also interesting because before I knew about the contest, I wrote a poem called Seascape. Have a great day! Best wishes, Caroline.

This is some brilliant frank ben, the lady's man thinking in your own slant Clarolyn. I think this is the first example of the Clerihew form I've seen. I'll have to study it out. Thanks for sharing it. Sincerely, love, Moses

Well he lost one round but gained others. Was he the one that said I see now that it is a rising sun for I was uncertain for a long time but now I definitely know that the sun is rising. Sara
