Forever Angel
even when the world turns away
your love keeps me centered
my flaws you accept
your presence is my essence
who else could take me as I am
wounded in love’s battleground
I reach out to your open arms
one who understands, makes no demands
give me a lifetime to linger in your heart
for we shall never be drawn apart
acceptance and love
you keep me stable, my forever angel
