Poetry is like a song, or should be. It’s meant to have meter and be lyrical. Poetry in the early Days was sung. Now, good poetry is read aloud. Poetry is far from words on paper.it is meant to carry emotion and use imagery. That differentiates poetry from just sentences om paper, thanks, Paula
