Fire of True Love
When time's relentless hand begins to trace
The lines of change upon a lover's face,
And youthful fire, once so bright and bold,
To embers soft, a story to unfold.
Does love then falter, dwindle, and decay?
Or find a deeper strength to light the way?
Through weathered years where trials leave their stain,
Does tenderness remain or fade in vain?
The heart that once with youthful passion burned,
Now seeks a solace, quietly discerned,
A gentle touch, a knowing patient gaze,
Where memories bloom in life's autumnal haze.
Though beauty fades and seasons swiftly change,
Love's enduring flame will never derange.
