Fire

The fire She looks at me And I turn away She knows something’s wrong But I would not say She kisses my lips But it’s cold like ice She wants the truth But it’s full of lies She has tears in her eye As her favorite song plays Then she holds my hand And softly says Where is the fire Where is the fire We light in the night And where is the love Where is the love To keep it burning bright I stood in silence Nothing left to say How do I tell her? The love just went away I still love her But I’m not in love And when I got to sleep Someone else I dream of She sets a table Candles lights and champagne She kiss my lips and Then ask me again Where is the fire Where is the fire We light in our lives And where is the love Where is the love To make it survive Though we found romance The night love walks in And I don know what happen But its just not there again I said I have to go Kiss her on her cheek And as I walk out We did not speak And as I drive away She’s crying in her bed And the word she said Won’t leave my head Where is the fire Where is the fire We light in the night And where is the love Where is the love To keep it burning bright
