Written: June 16, 2023 Dead flower's last bud ebbing mana of the wane yearns - a rotting flower mourns she has a yen for the brimming sun song weaves shielding in her gemstone womb splashing glitter on spring's canvas tinged with rust and crimson cardinals to foster the avian fantasies of a winter-weakened wilderness!

Beautiful sentiment. ~~ a winter-weakened wilderness!~~ A unique phrase and oh so true. Another admired poem to be proud of, my friend.

SV, Because of the reassuring statement you supplied, I owe you a great deal of gratitude. This is a new kind of free verse, which is a form that I enjoy creating, especially when it incorporates themes associated with the natural world.

There's always something about the last flower, its last petal, and the last leaf that clings to its branch. Good write, Lasaad.
