Picturesque scene with just a hint of menace. Quite remarkable how you have infused this haiku with that sense of beauty being under threat...which of course is in the form of passing time. Masterly.

Love the juxtaposition of hot and cold, light and dark, beauty and what is hidden below. There seems to be peace above the water but angst as we think about the deep dark waters. So well done, Sara!
