We have arrived...
to the street with no name
where we have been ushered in like prisoners
hypnotized by the pulse of excitement
There is an almost reverent calm
just before the storm
I wait for the rhythm of my blood
to paddle back to shore
My eyes are wide, my soul in chains
waiting for the reign
ringed by the flood of fanfare
but sitting on a wide desert plain
Hands grasping a torch of white
to light up the dark
and arms waving wildly,
while bright sparks
sink freely, into a galaxy of stars
Deep within the heart, we are one...neither stranger, neither star, ...we are one
We will run, but we can't hide, ...they will tear down the walls we've built, until we have bled inside
We have climbed the highest mountain, we have run through fields of bliss
we have scaled the walls, and more, ...for this,... and have found what we've been looking for....
