"I can smell the soul of an abandoned house and
I believe it is whispering, please explore me."
Quote by _ Constance
I was walking in the woods one day when I found an old abandoned house.
Her former beauty faded and ravaged. Left to fall into ruin and time decay.
I want to explore and imagine the people who lived there and why they left.
Trying the door it is not locked. I suppose it is dangerous to walk inside but
I did! It was battered and crumbling in every room. The wallpaper showing
the shadow of a rose flower pattern in the entrance way. The floors broken
in places and windows are shattered. So empty and forsaken, forgotten and
alone. I love this old house and imagine myself living there alone within
the woods. I could clean it up! Repair it! Return it to its former glory! But,
I realize it is lost. The green vegetation is devouring each room, vines hang
from every surface inside. Mildew coats the walls Then, I hear the echo of
a cooing sound coming from the second story ...
pigeons have a home
within these decaying rooms ...
house not forsaken
