Exiting Eden

Looking back while leaving Paradise, a new fear emerged: they were now afraid to die Eve holding Adam’s hand, was also holding back the tears Sweet fruit turned bitter, memory of disobedience caused great pain And the exodus made the sky cry Two almost perfect people slipped and fell ... Giving a taint of sin to such a beautiful place was an ugly sight to see Satan said our first parents and he were friends ... sheer blasphemy A traveling lie told exiting Eden Before moving to a new home, whose destination was yet unknown — Adam and Eve confessed their wrong, and taught us, their children, that repentance do make you strong This is the place where being reborn began, on the path exiting Eden This is the place where God forgave the first sin, on the path exiting Eden Though they were sad leaving, God promised Adam and Eve with words so very comforting He would bring them back to a better Eden one day, bringing great joy in the exiting

Penned well. A story told told of fallen; then uplifted by the stretched out hands of God, with emotion. Well done.
