Eulogy

As minds travel down a sorrowful road, There are words to ease the pain of those who mourn To lift spirits, and lighten the load Final thoughts for hearts so torn A little laughter in the midst of grief Beautiful memories as stories are told Scriptural verses to strenghten belief As onto faith our hearts do hold Grief will cause hearts to be broken Wherever earthly journeys cause us to roam There is comfort when kind words are spoken When inevitably, the journey takes us 'home' 2-12-2023 Writing Challenge - E Words Poetry Contest Sponsor: Constance La France
