Eulogy-
in the wilderness I took my shoes off
as I walk onto the ground I wash my feet off
before I trod any further I lifted my head up
toward the sky I open my mouth
~
and praise the Lord
Father God can you hear me
I took a step, I took a breath
I inhale what I exhaled
~
I cried out dear Father
I cried can you hear me
Open my eyes and close my mind
I set my spirit my soul is free
~
I was in denial but my eyes closed
and i envision I did see splendidly
in my silence in my dignity
my spirit rose my soul crying out
~
praying God hope you're not done with me
yet elated exasperated I opened my mouth
and I cry allowed Lord please don't be it ever
Be done with me I know deep in my heart you'refinished with me yet
