in the wilderness I took my shoes off as I walk onto the ground I wash my feet off before I trod any further I lifted my head up toward the sky I open my mouth ~ and praise the Lord Father God can you hear me I took a step, I took a breath I inhale what I exhaled ~ I cried out dear Father I cried can you hear me Open my eyes and close my mind I set my spirit my soul is free ~ I was in denial but my eyes closed and i envision I did see splendidly in my silence in my dignity my spirit rose my soul crying out ~ praying God hope you're not done with me yet elated exasperated I opened my mouth and I cry allowed Lord please don't be it ever Be done with me I know deep in my heart you'refinished with me yet 3/6/22 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr © 2022
