Enrapt

Darkness and light capture the morn capture a mood capture a grown-up world that sees in black or white, cut and dried, up or down needing to slow and find the calm of gray, the peace in average, the quiet of second place enrapt to recapture the reverence of a child.

Sue, I truly hope the world does not see everything in black and white. We all seek understanding and acceptance within our "calm of gray." Eloquent tribute to the the "child" within us. And thanks for sharing your thoughts on "Hungry and Hopeless Americans." Like you, I am hopeful that there is a bright spot beyond the horizon. Love, Carolyn

They have changed everything to gray as long as you have green. When you have green you can commit horrific crimes against your family (OJ), murder (LEWIS), deal drugs to kids (HOWE), do prostitutes and cocaine(Irvin) and still be innocent until broke. ESPN will even give you a lucrative job. Vince

Beautiful, Sue, yes, it takes balance, and gray, being the pinnicle of both, makes it the perfect zen place to be, right on, sista! Love, Kristin

I love the sort of Zen quality to this write, a poem meant NOT TO take life so seriously. Oh yes, to recapture the reverence and imagination of a child. Super write! Love, daver

I love the natural flow that this read has and the imagery you successfully create, all of which clearly conveys the sentiment of the write so well. Michael
