EMBRACE OF QUIETUS
Your story begins with a prime promise
On plateau of life you’d blaze a furrow
In dawn sky like the golden sun you’d rise
Meteor across night draped sky you’d glow.
Surging storms strike, snatch glitzy gleam away
Suck you in pained whirlpool of agony
Drown you in fathomless tears of dismay
Life becomes sad debris of irony.
Longing for cool embrace of quietus
From dust you try to rise, turn into ash
You introspect in times of hiatus
Listen to rhapsody of life afresh.
Soul sated you will live life of beauty
Flow on bliss to painless eternity.
