Eight Word Challenge- Bardensque Poetry Contest

Wafting through life without purpose As frivolous thoughts bombard my mind I met a possible love by happenstance It was on a day that was dank and dreary Perchance we will be lovers without folly? My soul flutters thinking about the possibility Matters of the heart are often so mysterious I'm torn and doubt whispers to my insecurities How can one's heart take rejection? It's so fragile I must let hope daub my mind with optimism So I can embrace love with my whole being Chosen Words: Chosen Words: 1. Wafting 2. Daub 3. Whispers 4. Dank 5. Flutters 6. Perchance 7. Folley 8. Happenstance 1-16-19 Contest: Eight word challenge-Bardenesque Poetry Contest Sponsor: John Hamilton

Hi Vijay, Thank you so much. I think it too short. I may have to rewrite it. I appreciate you being the first to leave such a kind comment:-) Alexis
