Here's an oxymoron that's sure to brighten your day: being the selfish head honcho, in the end never pays; purchasing personal glory at the cost of a friend. But being selfless helps out everybody else (and as an added bonus even yourself) NOTE: Haven't written anything new since I left Idaho, so I thought I'd share an older poem instead ...

Hey you...read Andrea's blog about you. Was in a bad place at the time and it was hard to comment. I just want you to know I'm happy that you were showcased. You're one of my favs around here. Hey Eileen ... thanks for checking back with me. Glad your writing group enjoyed the poem ... to my knowledge I think Trump won the Republican primary, so who knows what will happen. Andrea was very sweet to do that for me ... hope all is well with you!

My eyes tricked me and I thought the title was Egg Benificiary! I think a bit of ego is not necessarily a bad thing, however there are those who have egos on steroids and that is far from pleasant. Thanks for sharing this older piece. Now write a poem about egg Benificiary *lol*

EGG beneficiary ... ha ha ha. Good one! That would have made for an interesting title ;) Yes, I don't believe ego is wholly a bad thing ... but perhaps selfishness and ego aren't entirely synonyms. Thanks for reading, Richard.
