Each Passing Cloud
Each passing cloud is something new.
Look, my dear child, up at the sky.
Creatures you’ll see up in the blue -
like fluffy birds, but they don’t fly!
Wait! They are not white birds at all.
Each passing cloud is something new.
They might be big; they might be small.
I see a rabbit. Do you too?
You see a cat! Does it say mew?
I see a dog and now a giraffe.
Each passing cloud is something new.
You see a goat? That makes me laugh.
Now you see bears? Bears in the air!
You sure are seeing more than I do.
I see instead some cows up there.
Each passing cloud is something new.
