There once was a Texan named Dwight. As a weatherman, he wasn’t too bright. One day his viewers asked, “How will the weather be tonight?” Their questions for him posed quite a plight. The viewers persisted, “Will it rain? Will it snow?” To which Dwight answered, “I live in Texas. How the heck would I know?!” (note: I'm from Texas and the weather here is fickle.)

Maybe Dwight should come to England, we have raining and not raining, alternating most of the time to be honest. Currently flooding at the end of the road. Enjoyable read, Sara

thanks for stopping by, Clive. I visited England many years ago...Unlike Texas, it was rainy and cloudy every day. Yikes, flooding at the end of the road...that can't be good. I appreciate your support. Have a pleasant evening, Sara

Thanks for your kind words and comparison to Dr. Seuss. I think "The Cat in the Hat" was playing in the background of my mind. :-) Yes, Texas is generally quite hot from June through September. Fall is mild. Winters are sometimes extremely cold especially in January and February--ice storms and driving on black ice. Hardly ever any snow, especially snow that sticks to the ground. Enjoy your evening, Sara

Which must leave you in a terrible pickle... So top that slimy thing off with a sandwich, ham and cheese; and make that pickle kosher too, if you please. lol. Thanks, Theodore Gisell.

I'm chuckling with your poetic, humorous response, Gershon. I appreciate the subtle reference to Dr. Seuss himself, Theodore. You knew. I think "Cat in the Hat" was playing in the background of my mind when I wrote this. Thanks for stopping by and consistently commenting on my poetry. Hope you have a pleasant day...and finally PS is back up and running. Hooray, Sara
