Dust

In the tree of moon Dream-filled dust of lust last night Now a rose of dawn From dew and dust you Give the path of moonlit life The flowers in knife Come, no further gloom Let’s plant a tall tree before We return to dust _____________________________________________ 28 March 2017

Well, didn't instill any philosophical touch consciously ... But I must appreciate what you have found as you are a philosopher ... Thank you ...

Thank you very much ... Your evaluation lifts this small poem a lot from getting reduced to mere dust ... At least it is now poetry dust! ...

It was just these three lines when initally posted which Doug has spoken about ... But then it came to my notice the sponsor has asked for at least eight lines ... Hence the instant compliance ... Eileen has been witty enough to point out the change ... Thank you ...

Love it, Probir. : ) Had to laugh - I loved it just as the first three lines, then before I could comment on it, it changed.

Ha ha ... Just as I entered it for the contest I saw the stipulation of minimum 8 lines ... the rest had to come there and then for survival ... Hence the desire for the tree ... anyway, thank you so much ...
