Drowning In Despair

In the stream of night specks of darkness glide, wherein as I slowly sink I feel my essence gasp. I can’t hold on to your supporting hands as before, for you’ve made yourself free from my fervent grasp, nor can I clutch the vanishing vines of vain hope. That’s when I hear the distant bells toll for me, the music of life’s violin stops to play in an instant, dissolving in the time transcending depth of silence. When my time flows from the clasp of the present to meet the sea of memory spreading onto the past, I suffocate for it leaves little air of hope to inhale. I drown in despair for it won’t take me to the horizon to see the sunrise in the hued sky of the new dawn. As I drift on the torrent of turmoil to the final end, I long to grow wings for the soul with divine touch, soar in the infinite stretch of timeless space of bliss.
