Doubting Thomas
Thomas had faith but there in him was much debate
Reach hither thy finger and reach thy hand hither
I will not believe unless I see with my eyes and feel
I need to know its real then my faith, have no debate
Jesus came stood and said peace be unto you
Thrust your finger in my side behold my nailed hands
My lord my God I see I believe my faith has no debate
No more wondering no more pondering forever more
We will never see God in reality faith must have debate
Jesus said ‘be not faithless, but believing’
Still we doubt and wonder and blunder through life
blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.
