Dear Constance, you celebrate the creativity and dream-like quality of Chagall's painting in the thoughtful beauty of your poem. Your love for this visual art is eloquently expressed. I appreciate the Picasso quote as well. Congratulations for your success in Brian's contest. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

An artist friend and I (both losing our sight) have an inside joke that our paintings have begun to look like Chagall's. Our imaginations are all we can currently count on. I'm happy that I was able to visit many famous paintings and sculptures while my sight was good. Good luck with the contest.

Jan, thank you for visiting my poem, so sorry to hear about your eye sight. I am a lover of art and a member of the National Gallery of Canada, in Ottawa, Ontario. I love walking the different galleries, a day is not enough time to see the whole thing, so one has to go back several times, then I start all over again, blessings ~
