Just like human siblings when you think about it. Some dogs that don't have any cats in their household like to chase cats outdoors. As long as they don't catch them. We have two dogs, no cats because my daughter is allergic to them. Another thoughtful poem, Bill. All the best to you and Sara. ~

You have aptly described! So true! I have seen a few situations. One of the funniest was my son’s dog who would play with a stuffed fox while the cat pretended not to look. When the dog left the room the cat put her hand inside the puppet and licked it all over. So funny!

Ah this is absolutely stunning. My sister used to have cats and dogs together, was a fun scene. Youv written such a deeply moving haiku, and this can apply to human relationships, some just coexist and some fight, and some enjoy being together. How profound and deep is this. If not for the picture i would have thought its about human relations. Clever in few syllables you’ve delivered such deep thoughts. Pleasure reading

Sounds like they're on the same level as humans. I used to have a pup and kitty that groomed each other. It was such a pleasure to watch them. A sweet Haiku, Bill.
