do you love yellow

Bees, dear bees Prefer the yellow, Don’t ask me Why! Yellow attracts you More than the blue, Yellow makes them tender More than red, The yellow excites them, Less than mauve, Bees are amazing, Dear bees, They prefer yellow, It is the color of honey, They prefer yellow, the sun, It is the color of sunflower, Ah really, dear bees, You are obsessed, You only think about it, like me, Yellow makes you happy, It suits you so well, ah really What a joy to be a bee In a rape field. Or on a simple mimosa. On a common barbarian Or in a lemon tree. Like a ray of sunshine. You’re taking my heart.

Dear Yann, I love how your poem buzzes with joyful energy and a tender fascination for the humble bee’s love of yellow. I love the warmth filled with honey, the sun, the sunflower blends into a celebration of nature’s simple pleasures and the bee’s radiant obsession. Your own delight, creates a sweet, sunlit moment that feels alive and personal. Poetry can celebrate the small wonders that connect us all. Spring Blessings, My Dear Yann, Daniel

Always, your poems are interesting. I had to look for the contest of rape fields..aha. Somebody has to love bees and you surely do, as well as yellow, I think. I remember bees on rows of coneflowers in a tiny local garden.
