Do You Hear Me
do you hear
me yelling? I just hear an
echo. But maybe
May be my voice
travels as it repeats
gusting among desert
winds like small dust
devils Bouncing off hills
maybe it's nudging birds in
flight off their trajectory
Lifting up dragonflies scattering
pollen for the bumble bees.
Do you hear me?
just hear my echo.
hello hello why
why my words repeat
through my brain dancing
be- tween my ears
like pinballs
under glass.
Mental flippers
thrusting
ding ding
to keep
my words
alive on a
trajectory to your
reading eyes to take your
soul somewhere
