Distant Light

` a gray misty morning finds my mind drifting to slumbering horizons dreaming of wished for kisses and early dawn hugs the scent of rain gathers on a chilly breeze as my thoughts reach for a distant light beckoning me with morning glory eyes, enticing and though the sun is hidden from view, my heart still shines in the effervescent beauty that i forever see in you

Wow, this is amazing Chris, to me it sounds like a somber day on your horizon yet you turned it into a beautiful day...my skies are gray today and rain is supposed to come later....love this poem, so beautiful, i think when the evening rains come, i will come back to this to bask in the beauty, and feel the warmth...
