Notes About The Poem

hello dear soupers, just a lil soulful scribble for this sunday, july has so far been rough.. was hospitalized because of very high fever, migraine, weakness and what not, craziness.. hoping for recovery. till then sending you all love and light! Thank you for reading...this poem has been written for Unseeking Seeker's contest, 'Disrobing ego'.

..

disrobing ego

When the veil of light lifts ~
and golden glaciers melt,
I feel the fervent foliage
of hydrangea sunrise
sprinkling its sacrosanct scents
and softly tiptoeing upon my
flawed fingertips,
letting me be free,
as they float and flow
in the sparkling fluidity
of frolicking fragrances,
stretching beyond ~
what remains cloaked by bliss
and bound by fate.
Perhaps, the ritualistic road,
untaken and untamed,
was meant to lead me
to the beckoning belief
of ruby-lotus reveries,
ruffled in the
spiritual silence
of the third-eye awakening.

There is no vinyl
kept in the vaults
of the sixth sense ~
that could reveal,
a whimsical note without
the magnetic resonance,
that creates a serendipitous synergy
when fused together,
are intellect and visceral minds
that know not ~
the fluency of faith
and flutter in the fulcrum
of fairy-winged fuchsias,
being burgeoned
by the wizard
who curates each moment
weightlessly with the
deliberate deeds
of kyanite chakras ~
in our unfathomable karma.
This ego does not wither
in crude kismets
of coin-shaped crystalline sagas,
rather it wears
a saffron shawl ~
becoming, not a saint,
but, an altruistic keeper
of imperfections ~
too human to hide
those delirious dilemmas,
but in the foresight
of the forsaken,
the sepals of this soul
still sing the soulfulness
of my inner sanctuary ~
echoing in evocative elegies,
whispering in white,
verbalising the depth
of violin waves ~
and vocalising those
werifesteria virtues,
that let me rise
beyond the blossoms,
speaking sincere humanity.

In this ochre orchard,
of fireflies who hear my pleas,
and seek to search
the forgotten in
sun-dripping sonnets ~
I long to be
a worshipper,
the bridge between
mukti and maya ~
as I pledge my sentences
to the syllables
of celestial catharsis,
thawing citrine tulips
and making them bask
with a suave smile ~
for, this dawn,
I woke up
to breathe the
life I have forever ached to live ~
in the aurelian aura of the almighty,
to feel the cosmic quientescence
of His divine existence,
and remembering the realisation
that rests in reality,
within the quiescence of me.

Because ~
I am the reason and
   the rose-rippling remedy ~
I am the cure of the incurable cause
and I am the holy heartbeat
whose hymns
your truths own, heal and reveal...
in the prayer
of pearlescent phrases...

Dear Hiya, Congrats on POTD. First, I pray for your wellness and recovery. What a breathtaking and deeply spiritual journey you’ve taken me on. The rhythmic flow of your verses carries such a beautiful, innate melody, and the sheer musicality of your alliteration, from the "fervent foliage" to the "flutter in the fulcrum", practically begs to be read aloud. You have built that delicate bridge between mukti and maya, offering us all a beautiful, "rose-rippling remedy" through your pearlescent phrases. A transcendent and healing piece. Blessings, Daniel

A beautiful rendition of the interplay between ego & soul, Hiya. I always enjoy your alliteration, colour & interweaving of nature’s beauty. These lines feel soo etheric: “ the fluency of faith and flutter in the fulcrum of fairy-winged fuchsias,” I especially enjoyed the final summation stanza. It is filled with wisdom. Aah ! I c it captured POTD. Well done. And get well soon. Sending Light.
