Discovery and Decisions
“In an outburst of anger, I hid My face from you for a moment,
But with everlasting lovingkindness I will have compassion on you,”
Says the Lord your Redeemer." Isaiah 54:8
Jehovah God is present everywhere,
but His dwelling place is unique.
He resides only within
the hearts, the souls, the minds
of Christian believers.
One might ask how a person
finds God, feels God, sees God
when He is an invisible spirit.
Believers simply invite Him into their lives;
He doesn't stay where He is not welcomed.
The second member of the Triune God,
Jesus came to earth as a human to reveal who God is.
Studying His life, we understand better
His death, His burial, His resurrection.
All this helps man make the connection with his Creator.
Furthermore, the privilege of communion with God
demands that believers share
the whys, the wherefores, the wisdom
of their creed with those who have questions.
The lack of concern and charity of many
who call themselves Christian
is an act of sabotage against our Lord when
we hold hostage
the heritage of His humanity,
the hope of heaven,
the horror of hell.
Is it then that He seems to hide from us?
