Destiny Was Ours

"destiny was ours"

have we felt the power of love
can we savor its light and warmth
will we hold tight each caress
are we under a intimate spell

from yesterday to today to tomorrow
not only have we not only can we
we will feel and are seduced evermore
from one fine day destiny was ours 

as sun and moon cease to shine
our love continues to outshine
