Death, Where Are You
In the forsaken wasteland a tired traveler
Breathless, can’t reply to the unseen caller
From beyond the receding horizon unclear,
Death, where are you.
In the twilight hours the distant bell tolls
I can’t perceive where but know who calls,
Painful wait before the curtain finally falls,
Death, where are you.
The candle is melting fast to the end mark
Shredded shadows of spent emotions lurk
My mind would soon become blind in dark,
Death, where are you.
I hear sound of nearing footsteps of destiny
It's time for me to make the caged soul free
In the embrace of eternal bliss to find me,
Death, where are you.
