Though provoking reflection. The title works well with the piece. Before you enter this, I would delete any personal reference as I see you signed it MJ. I'm not sure about Brian's feelings on the matter but I wouldn't want to see this poem eliminated due to that. Let the poem stand on it's own. Hope this is helpful. Good luck! Karen

Hi Michael, I read it a long time before but just couldn't comment. This is just so thoughtful of you. What happened was really miserable and you have put that into a definite wonder of poetry. Thanks for all your wishes:) Saying Merry Christmas to you dear friend and a very happy new year!! Love, Chitra

Michael - how did i miss this? You must have been very sneaky and replaced it where your other one was. Well wow, nor am I a political person, but you were obviously emotionally affected by what you heard and it created the inspiration for a GREAT Epigram! Seriously different, that's for sure. Very well done! Love, Shar

MJ you have my angle absolutly right. and it is what he is missing. sorryfull that those who refuse to see are resentfull so i am forced to change the title. from a more fitting title; expressing what "they" are missing. perhapes if we pray one day they will see the light. by the way. good funny piece. I think this is an awesome write. I'm not too poltical myself but somethings just can't be passed up! Thank you for your thaoughtful comment, lots of wisdom in your words, always. Don't ever feel bad about admitting how you were because by admission of those things we can heal, grow and learn. You and your wife are a perfect example of how people can do this. I am going to change my life either way and move on. You are a beautiful person. God bless you. Love Robin

Well, that akes me sick. For anyone to covet and reward such a fool for his hateful behavior, is disgusting. Sure, he must be a lost soul, with little self worth or morals, for which I pity him...but to be rewarded for such things? Not cool. excellent poem, and a winner for sure. Love always, Kristin p.s-thank you for your always sweet comments. :)

Dear Mike...Of course it hasn't:) I wasn't at all offended to tell you the truth...I am one that tries to share my thoughts with all the thoughts I encounter...Just to express different point of views...You are too someone I deeply respect and would always do... Take good care and have a good holiday Always, Farah

Yes...That is indeed what has happened! The news has been all over Dubai and the country.Well it brought me some laughs indeed.but as I look deeper into it.yes I could see that the world is falling apart.but, I also thought. Why would a man jeopardize his whole future by throwing a shoe? Yes they might have bought him a house..but he has been sentenced to 15yrs of prison.Who knows what might be lying within him.Maybe his family has been killed in the war n his rage threw his shoes!Who knows?
