Dazzling Dawn
Dazzling Dawn
A delicate dew of emerald green awaits the distant dawn
A grassy meadow near the ravine, sighting of the first fawn,
The yellow birch stretches upward high with a yearly yawn
As the yellow-billed loon in its dive upsets the fish’s spawn.
The river whispers its watery woes, the sun winks, and wakes
The wind walks on tippy toes, before soaking shower shakes,
The blossoms bare belting blows as thunder soundly quakes
Crickets chirping compose and hush when the dawn breaks.
Crimson colors systematically spread like palates in the sky
Sunshine spews its daily shed and the valleys valiantly vie,
Stillness surrounds ambient air, the willows begin their cry
Petals become abloom and aware the eagle floating his fly.
The dazzling dawn has woken as King before the dyeing day
The panoramic view has spoken as it takes your breath away,
And now the dim dusk descends with its paralyzing pallid play
For the cycle never ends as long as nature keeps both at bay.
