Dear darling daisy, laced with baby’s breath
sweet bouquet for budding nineteen-year-old bride.
Delicate maidens like milk and butter
truly a wedding flower for morning bright.
Star pointed petals each like snowflakes
whitened with breath of delicate interlace.
Dear darling daisy, you are a lady
dressed as a wedding flower for happy days.
Sunshine brightens your dreamy countenance
bringing radiance to an already life.
Blessed are the trembling hands that hold you.
Dear dazzling daisy you are delight.
