The Holy Spirit hovered o’er the darkness of the deep, involved in all creation; earth still formless and asleep. The breath of God’s own mouth: Ruach, declaring “Let there be…” enacting each commandment; thus began earth’s history. The Holy Spirit hovers o’er the darkness of my deep: those corners of my heart where I allow the good to sleep. The breath of life that woke the dead and calmed the raging sea still breathes and fills the lungs of faith – it reaches even me. // The meaning of the Hebrew word ruach is "breath," or "wind," or "spirit." //

What is more miraculous than the breath of life.. the power of God to give Life, to instill energy.. to tame the wild.. to "calm the rage of a deep mysterious sea".. What is more beautiful than a soul of deep spiritual awareness, a spirit of deep Faith that doesn't take any gift and blessing of life for granted! What is more genuine and inspiring poetry of a great beautiful soul and poet! So much enjoyed reading your awakening amazing thoughts and feelings.. Happy New Year full of Love Light and peace and God's infinite blessings, John.. My warmest wishes. Deepest regards.

I can feel the ru'ach emanating from these wonderful lines, John. Ha-ru'ach noshevet! - which means the wind blows... V'haprachim olim -- and the flowers grow (pop up, literally)! Lovely penned, Sir John! Eternity and More, Gershon
