He arose, erasing my past Stifling the ache with His embrace Gentling me with peace that will last It’s called true love, amazing grace He arose, silencing all doubt Thankful that my wrongs he’d erase All my sin has been blotted out It’s called true love, amazing grace He arose, healing my despair Joy is written across my face He’s kind, answering my prayer It’s called true love, amazing grace He arose, spoke light o’er my soul Offered hope that I can’t replace With Him, there’s wonder to console It’s called true love, amazing grace He arose, stirring my heart up From the dark, His light I’ll still chase His Spirit always fills my cup It’s called true love, amazing grace

He arose and brought victory over darkness . Through His death He ushered in the light of hope and resurgence. Praised be His name. Beautiful poem. Congratulations Gina on your first place win.

Your poetry is uplifting. The way I escaped the words of my father was through my Heavenly Father. So I appreciate these words of praise. Thanks for your visit to my poem.
