Daffodil Romance
Daffodils by the garden gate
Welcoming all who come that way
Nodding in the morning breeze
Like innocent children at play
Their yearly reign will not be long
With abandon they sweetly dance
Their yellow flags fly cheerfully
A spring and daffodil romance
