Quatrain
A stanza or poem consisting of four lines. In the basic form, Lines 2 and 4 must rhyme  while having a similar number of syllables.

Crushed, by the fickle hand of fate, hope collapses, crumbling away. And all that's left is fear and hate, love got lost in the games you play. I was blind, but thought I could see, so I let you lead from the start. And every time you lied to me I believed you, with all my heart. Cast away, with naught but my fears, I felt last-night was our last night. And I cried a river of tears watching you slowly fade from sight. After waking from nightmare screams, I feel broken and out of place. And forsaking my hopes and dreams, I question what future I face. (Quatrain) 06/17/2020
