Cruella De 'Vile' - Was My Mother In Law

I never ever meant to ALIENATE Cruella my mother in law But her CAPRICIOUS INURBANE manner was really pretty poor Cruella was PERSPICUOUS in her opinion and she would never listen I was just her SCAPEGOAT and many times my eyes would glisten I’d try my best to FLATTER her, I’d comment on her new dress But if I’m being MALIGNANT she often looked a blinking mess! Our TRANSITORY seldom meetings were never that much fun We would DISSIPATE quickly, and out of the door I would run I would GRAVITATE to the garden to get a little bit of peace In the end I decided that our rare visits would now have to cease! Oh, the in-laws. Poor creatures that they are. It makes you wonder about their in-laws. Humorous write and nice use of the ten words. I read this on my phone the other day but my comment wouldn't send. Nicely done Jan.

Hi Jan, a wonderful way of looking at the theme. I always love the way you get the fun in there. I'm glad she is fictional, i would get myself into so much trouble if she were real and in my life. I can be honest to a fault. I like the way you have put all the words in your piece, the whole piece makes sense, well written, as always, and i hope it does well for you in the contest. I'm of the opinion that you were a scapegoat for the OLD goat. I'd not allow such an inurbane creature who flatters herself to bother me. Block her from entering your home, or you could always say, "Off with her head!" Fun write, Jan.
